That girlie stuff is kinda weak. I prefer the real shit from the hardware store, but be sure to have good ventilation! You might take a "trip" and never have to leave the farm.
Re-torque them heads to + 10 ft. lbs. It might stop the leaks, and should be safe, just do it evenly. How are you torquing the heads? With a Ducati Factory wrench? Or?
Roughening the mating surfaces sometimes helps, but you don't want to have to take everything apart again unless absolutely necessary!

It could well be a cleanliness issue with residues from the degreaser.
Acetone eh....nail varnish remover....what about the stuff you wipe over to degrease before spray painting?
