I bought a set of ST body parts several years ago and it was shipped in a used bicycle cardboard box. It was inner US shipping but not very bad. Bicycle shops throw out the boxes, see if you can measure one somewhere.
Hi Ian,
Thanks. I'm not sure about the dimensions. Just guessing, I entered 80cm x 80cm x 40cm I think, and a weight of 20kg. I'm now considering the possibility of buying a smaller subset of the whole thing – possibly just the upper cowl/windshield section and a few bits. What the seller is listing is every piece of plastic on the front half of the bike, including mirrors and headlight (and headlight surround).

What linear dimensions/ weight, origin and destination? What value for insurance? I have a couple of courier firms I use and can get quotes given this info.

Thanks to Nico on this group, who has spotted a great deal on a complete set of ST2 fairings for me, I am looking into shipping rates for a fairly large parcel from Europe to my home in Virginia. I am getting ridiculous prices on UPS and DHL (over €500 for my guesstimate of the parcel size/weight). Does anybody have suggestions? I'm not in a rush for delivery.
Thanks!
