Simon,
Oil leak sources can be a real pain to trace. I like to clean with brake cleaner, blow dry with air and then start the engine up briefly to source the leak.
Post a photo or two with a pencil pointing to what you think is the leak source.

Subject: [DucatiST] Oil leak
I have a 99 St4 and recently noticed a little oil staining around the cam belt cover on stripping I traced the leak to the sleeve on the camshaft behind the belt roller, its not leaking past the seal its wicking up the shaft and consequently over the belt has any one had this happen before and will a little sealant fix it? Cheers Simon
