Thanks Nate Yup done that and I have yet to hear it slip (which was my concern). It is much lighter, just engages right near where my fingers are extended, which makes it hard to be precise esp. when tired.

I've heard many times that you can remove two of the clutch springs as well, for easier travel. AFAIK it will still engage at the same place, just a hell of a lot easier to pull the lever in. I have never done this, and do not know if there are any negative things that will happen because of it; I'm guessing it will affect some other aspect of the clutch. Just make sure they are the opposing springs.
