| I've run a link crane years ago, heck, I was 23 or so then. We were setting stacks on an IC unit in a powerplant. I worked for CP&L then. So one day I ran it, it has load radius and all printed in a nice chart in the cab. But, if your not absolutely sure about the load weight and someone isn't checking your radius closely, that's what you get. To finish my tale, the next day the lead mechanic I worked with was running it. We had lead ropes and all on the unit (probably 10 times as big and heavy as that pool. He was booming out to set it on the ground and about 6 foot off the ground when it tipped over. So, the whole crane did'nt tip and thankfully no ones leg or arm was under the stack.
