Re: [DucatiST] Dyna Beads

I'm going to add Tyre Balancing to religion and politics as my list of taboo subjects whilst in the pub!

I do feel that some more tangible evidence (like a practical demonstration) rather than some PowerPoint slides would surely put the issue to bed.

That said, even if the effectiveness is purely a placebo, that's good too.

Each to their own.

Thanks for the entertaining jousts to all who have taken part. Let's not let ceramic beads get too far into our shared love for bikes and riding......

Alasdair

Sent from my iPod.  Sometimes it thinks it knows what I'm typing but gets it wrong. Sometimes I get it wrong by myself. You choose.......

Gary, no offense taken, just think it's a stretch to say you've never used them then offer an opinion anyway. Of course I've never been hit by a Freightliner but in my opinion it would still hurt...

Robert,
Please don't take offense. I haven't taken any. As I said in my email I
have had no emperical experience with Dyna Beads. At the time I was said
mechanic they were not in existence. Therefore I could not call Dyna
Beads "snake oil". At the time of my professional experience all such
auto-balancing schemes were proven to be useless. Now I will admit my
opinion may be out of date, but it is my opinion, and may not be based
on current technological facts such as they are. Much blood has been
shed to keep our country free including some of mine. Your opinion is
based on your own observations as is mine. I respect your opinion please
respect mine. Nuff said on this subject let's please move on.

Thanks,
