Re: [DucatiST] Dyna Beads

Gary, it's used by many a long haul trucker and I've used it with success on log truck tires.
So to call it snake oil is a bit out there, don't care how many cars you've worked on....
And as a final note, the first time I tried it in my motorcycle tires I had the tire installed at a shop that didn't have it nor had ever used it. They put my tire own with the beads as I weight them out of a bag of truck tire beads. Then they put the tire on their balance machine. It was in perfect balance both front and rear...

Wayne,
Not afraid to comment online. Although I have never used Dyna Beads
myself I have heard of many problems IN CARS with similar balancing
schemes. As a professional brake and front end mechanic I have removed
many of these type devices with positive results such as cupping stopped
and vibrations stopped. I have no direct experience with Dyna Beads but
my natural caution for "snake oil" solutions leads me to not recommend
such solutions. Careful attention to conventional balancing techniques,
in my opinion, work the best in most all situations.
