is your clutch slipping now? Could be you knocked that adjustment screw up into the master cylinder a bit and now when it warms it starts to slip...just a thought.

Hello everyone,

I really would need some help with a problem with my bike.

Last week I dropped it on the left hand side. The only damage was to the clutch lever that was a bit crooked. I fixed that with a bit of heat and caution.

The problem that I have been having since is that time every time the transmission is in neutral the overall noise of the motor is a lot louder.

I have noticed at the end of the clutch lever (same as the brake lever) a small rectangular plastic piece held together with two small gold screws. It seem that with the brake there is a small part on this piece where the lever seems to rest when not in use. Well, for the clutch lever this part (1 inch wide to 1 1/2 inch long) is gone. Could it be what is causing this rough and noisy idling, I mean the loss of this small part. Also, the bike does not seem to have as much power as before like it is struggling in low to medium rpm

Thanks you so much for your help

Andre
