The one that I had that lasted 52K miles was the 'gen 1' version. The basket takes standard Barnett clutch plates. 'hand fitted' just means that Charlie lightly files the inside corners of the tab so they slip easily into the tight-tolerance baskets he makes. If you can't get hold of a 'hand-fitted' set in the future, you can just buy a stock Barnett set and spend 10 mins filing them yourself (if you even have to!). :-)
