I am interested in some of those stray bits, just not sure what all I need yet.
I just started my winter project, but a thorough clutch checkout if not rebuild is in order. It's a monster S4, so the 916 engine. The clutch cover was utterly destroyed, the springs obliterated and the pressure plate is scraped up courtesy of the deer that broke the throttle handlebar clean off in a successful suicide.
Any suggestions or sources for bits of clutch repair would be great, it will be my first attempt. The bike has 17K on it, but the clutch plates I can see don't look too bad.
Do I need one of those handy clutch tool rigs?
Other bits I'll need are turn signals, mirrors, brake reservoir, right foot peg, rear brake lever and master cylinder linkage. After that it's cosmetics, possibly a new tank, exhaust connector pipe, front fender.
Thanks
Marc
