"For the 6 hoses on my 2002 ST4s, the original Ducati parts would be $150. I have to say, since they have happily lasted over ten years, I can't see much of any reason to spend twice that for silicone hoses. Don't really care if they are black instead of violet or green or even red. YMMV."

Subject: [DucatiST] Another thought on radiator hoses
Being a thrifty guy (okay, cheap), I thought that I would check on OEM prices for hoses. I used my local dealer, Halls in Springfield, IL, who has online pricing and ordering. For the 6 hoses on my 2002 ST4s, the original Ducati parts would be $150. I have to say, since they have happily lasted over ten years, I can't see much of any reason to spend twice that for silicone hoses. Don't really care if they are black instead of violet or green or even red. YMMV.
