Just for the record, here are the OEM rad hoses and clamps required for a 2001 ST2.
The pricing is from the Pandora Ducati Parts site.
I have also included the shipping cost from USA to USA and USA to Australia.
For me, the OEM hoses and clamps will be $180 delivered, which are considerably less expensive than the Samco hoses and clamps. I don’t think I need the silicone hoses that badly, so I will probably stay stock.

Damn, I just assumed that aftermarket would be less expensive than OEM. Now I am going to have to spend some quality time with a parts manual and Pandora Ducati’s website and find out for sure. I don’t particularly care about colour either, as long as it fits and it works.
Further details when I get a few minutes to spare.

Subject: [DucatiST] Another thought on radiator hoses
Being a thrifty guy (okay, cheap), I thought that I would check on OEM prices for hoses. I used my local dealer, Halls in Springfield, IL, who has online pricing and ordering. For the 6 hoses on my 2002 ST4s, the original Ducati parts would be $150. I have to say, since they have happily lasted over ten years, I can't see much of any reason to spend twice that for silicone hoses. Don't really care if they are black instead of violet or green or even red. YMMV.
