Yes,Yahoo Groups is "ancient" in tech terms, and I, too, would like easier photo uploading and am especially sick of having to scroll through in digest mode reams of repeated threads. But I think we would lose a lot of people. It's not worth it.
If it ain't broke (just slightly awkward), don't fix it.

Ok, it would be easier to post and find photos. But finding something in the shared knowledge of this database of ST history would be difficult. (if not lost)
