Honestly, the sound never bothered me at all, until I tried the qc mod. THEN, I knew what the exhaust and bike REALLY sounded like. That damn clutch is loud bro. Do I care, not really. But it does take away from the sound of my leo vince pipes; which to me is the real bread and butter, along with the shop vac sound from my airbox. I also do not like that sound very much, but it makes a nice difference in seat of the pants performance, which the rattling can of wrenches does not. Also, that sound tells me that the clutch is slowly self destructing. YMMV.
