Re: [DucatiST] BMW K1300s

Guess again, Tricky Ducky. The K1300S weighs 503 dry, with luggage rack, abs, and a large order of schweinbrauten. My K1200S weighed in at just over 800 with side luggage and top bag full, gas, oil, water. and me in the saddle. Lighter than Turbo in similar nick on his old 4S (although he's grass fed). I removed ten pounds with a muffler change. The tranny is klunky for sure, but the gearing is fine. The buzz goes away with proper tuning and use.

Don't believe the haters.

I just rode the Triumph 800 Explorer, big fun.

All of these bikes are more capable than me.

So, at the moment the leaders in my quest for a new(er) bike are the Multistrada 1200s and a low miles ST4s. (The ST4s just because I like the looks better than the Multi ;))
