[DucatiST] Re: ST4 suicide-stand adaptation

Hi Nick

Except from some pain and not withstanding much effort/work yet (the arm gets 'tired' fast) it is going quite well.
Fysio already stopped, I will get a new x-ray photo mid August, hope to get the green light then for driving the bike.

Yes... great remark... use of both arms... ;)
I suppose that is already ok, it's the brain which I'm missing.
So I'm interested in the additional info, gives me the opportunity to get some other bodyparts messed up....like fingers ;)
I like working (trying to) on the bike.

I plan on using the blinking led when the sidestand is down(already have it) + a buzzer which would sound when sidestand is down and not in neutral.

Cheers
Filip

[DucatiST] Re: Fourth Annual Ducks Head West (DHW) Rally

Well that would help: August 13-15, Erwin TN. See http://www.usdesmo.com for all the details and registration forms.

Lewis,
Have you got a date for this event, and possibly a location?
Is it in the western states, or in North Carolina?

Cheers,
Phil

[DucatiST] Re: Pirelli angel st

With the Pirelli Strada, the wear bars are on the side flutes. The center strip has no tread, so there's really no good way to check the tread depth if you severely flat spot it, like I did. The wear bars all looked really good. I just chose my routes poorly. That, and high speed in the rain eats up rubber kinda quick I guess.
I looked more closely at my records and it was almost exactly 3,000 miles to the cords.
This next tire, I'm going to wear out edge to edge.

Cheers,
Phil
