Yep, I'm here!
Filip; first of all, I hope the arm is healing well?
I made the holder for the reed switch from folded stainless sheet, screwed to the base of the stand. The neodymium magnet was fitted to a new S/S spring-plate designed with an extension, so it 'wiped' across the reed switch as the stand was brought round. Rather over-engineered as usual, but I wanted it to be protected from stones etc, and of course a reed switch is not subject to corrosion of the contacts because it is fully encapsulated. I can send you more pics of the installation if you want, but you'd need to have good workshop facilities, quite apart from the use of both arms!
Having said that, you could probably achieve much the same by attaching the bits with epoxy adhesive. Or, as Derek says, find the later type of sidestand with integral switch which will bolt straight onto the crankcase casting. These switches are not completely fault-free by all accounts, and can cause intermittent ignition problems if wired-in to the main loom as Ducati subsequently did. I decided to just use a miniature red LED with integral flash circuit, and mount it somewhere obvious on the 'dashboard', but then of course you must pay attention to it!
