Hey Nick, just saw this one. I'll have to check it out. I do have high tensile wire down one side with hot wire and I suppose I could run hot wire round the garden.

Re the veggies; have you tried the nifty little wireless deer fence gizmos? My lady in PA has had good success in maintaining a garden where we never thought it would be possible, the deer traffic being what it is. The little wands have an attractive smell but pack a kilovolt sting in the tip. The deer learn to avoid an area surrounded by them, so they need to be fairly close together (say 5-10yards). Made in the good ol' USA (or at least marketed from there!). Just google wireless deer fence...
