[DucatiST] I'll be listing my ST2 for sale

I've had my 1998 ST2 for almost seven years now and now I'm seriously considering selling it.  I sold my 888 a few weeks ago to a guy in Canada who was really excited to get it and will definitely give it a great home - with other Italian bikes and a couple of Ferraris.

My goal wasn't to go buy another bike right away, but the local KTM dealer tempted me with a 990 Adventure and I ended up buying it.  So the ST2 is sort of redundant now.  I'll be cleaning it up over the weekend and I'll list it for $2000.  It has 38K miles and is due for a major service, will need a clutch in the not too distant future, and has a salvage title, so I won't be getting much out of it.  If I can't sell it for $2000, I'll keep it and ride it once in a while, but it will probably get the least riding miles of my three bikes if I do that.

I expect to continue to read this list, since there are some great discussions on occasion, like the recent one on how to make the best starter motor wires.

I've had at least one Ducati for the last 13 years, so it will be different concentrating on other brands.  There is a lot to learn about KTM, and I'll be fighting to keep from buying all of the junk the their riders typically add to their bikes.  I managed to keep my ST2 and 888 fairly stock - Monsters are another story.

I'll remain a Ducati rider at heart.
