Not used one myself but most of my friends who have seem to settle on
Autocom. Wired to the bike but has phone and mp3 player inputs and good
performance. You could try ordinary walkie talkies but wind noise would mean
the VOX setting wouldn't work and you'd have to use a bar mounted PTT
button.
