Since their takeover, Autocom seem to have fallen off their perch - I'm looking at the moment and, after years of Autocom being the default choice, their range seems poorly thought out and ill-designed. I'm hearing very good things about the Interphone/BlueAnt F4 (or F3 for simpler use) and am about to take the plunge on that. In fact I'd have done so already had this month not seen me having to shell out on 2 cage tyres, 2 tyres for the 'Strada, and a complete set of winter wheels & tyres for the same cage - been an expensive month in rubber.

Not used one myself but most of my friends who have seem to settle on
Autocom. Wired to the bike but has phone and mp3 player inputs and good
performance. You could try ordinary walkie talkies but wind noise would mean
the VOX setting wouldn't work and you'd have to use a bar mounted PTT
button.
