I have been too busy with all the other bikes, school, scraping and painting the house, etc to get around to the project in the last several months (year?). I had to cut the frame to clear the horizontal head, installed the engine, have the rear suspension installed (it is a stretched and boxed ST2/4 swingarm with ST rear wheel/brakes), and can at least roll the project around. I need to get the frame rail rewelded in to clear the head, and then I can reinstall everything and do a final build. I just haven't had the time or motivation to tear it back apart and get the frame welded. After getting the frame welded, the two main obstacles will be a radiator arrangement and have the bottom of the tank to make clearance for the extra width of the Desmoquattro head.
Just as an FYI for anyone who doesn't know, the project we are talking about is my wild-hair to stuff an ST4 engine into a 1988 Ducati Paso 750 chassis.
Here's some pictures of it as it sits...
