I just re-read this and it doesn't portray what I meant to say. Those items that I bought were generally bought with many items and those I did not need were sold to recoup the costs, or items given to me were sold to pay for things I had to pay for.
For example, I needed a titled frame after being given two frames without titles, and I also needed the tail-light assembly and headlight fairing from a Paso. I bought the remains of a parted out bike with titled frame but missing the engine, forks, tank, swingarm, and a few other parts for $450. I then kept the parts I needed, sold off most of the parts that I did not need for $900+, and I still have some parts to sell. One guy gave me a complete rolling chassis with a near mint tank and Corbin seat for free. Just the Marzocchi M1R forks are worth a few hundred to the right person. I decided to keep the tank and seat, though. Figure "free" is always good.
