Re: [DucatiST] Mega Paso 916 Project - Was: Filing the Repair Weld - Re: Broken Mounting Bolt/

I love the idea of a true "stealth" machine.

Some poor plonker who's just shelled out mega bucks for the latest gadgets being rounded up by a firebreathing Paso!

Quite apart from the inginuity and resourcefulness that such a project entails, of course.

Good on that man, I say!

Cheers

Subject: [DucatiST] Mega Paso 916 Project - Was: Filing the Repair Weld - Re: Broken Mounting Bolt/

Almost everything was given to me free of charge, and what was not given to me has been sold and traded to have nearly nothing in the project - and I still have parts to sell.

Ideally, I wanted to stuff a carb'ed SS900 engine into the bike, but the ST4 engine came with the TBs, wiring harness, computer, and a box of other parts at a price too good to pass up for a local arrangement. In total, I probably have $800 invested with enough parts to sell to get $1400+ in return, plus...

It's just an interesting project to attempt. If all fails, I'll sell everything and make money on "lessons learned".
