Well, Jack, A coupla years ago I would maybe have agreed. However, having one of the five Ducatis in the US with stock pipes, believe me all you can hear is the clutch! When I first installed a Charlie clutch, and then again when I did the QC mod, it was so much more pleasant to ride. To paraphrase; "As God is my witness, I will NEVER have a noisy clutch again!"
