So what would you call the original Monster? THAT was ugly and messy too, looking more like a rat-bike than most ratbikes. I have a photo on my wall of an 800 Monster loan bike I had, and it stands out as having zero taste and styling input. Galluzi didn't style it, he threw it together for a laugh. At least he did the decent thing with the STs. Thankfully, Ducati's stylists have done an about-face now, with the various 'services' discreetly concealed and beautiful sweeping curves on the exhaust, etc. IMO, the Diavel is a stunning muscle-bike, and would look SO good in my garage next to an 848EVO. Dream on...
