Just had our "brined" bird and I can say, without a doubt, my Jennifer has outdone herself. Now I'm slipping into a coma.

Our "brined" turkey is in the oven and the house has taken on a certain patina, t-minus threee hours and counting. Maker's Mark and Carpano Antica for the world's best Manhattan and a great bottle of Breggo Pinot Noir for dinner, life is great.
