That ST4 actually looks rather good to me, given that it got its belts & valves at 9K and it has 11.7K right now. The body looks good and it's not a 1998, so (correct me if I'm wrong, guys) I think it's got the 3-phase stator and the upgraded electronics. Yeh, it's not a ST4s with all the whistles and bells, but I certainly don't ride my bike to the degree that I need it's various snazzy stuff, and most of that can be upgraded over time, if you're interested.
Given what I know now, I'd probably look really, really hard at that bike, and see if I couldn't make them an offer. This is the time to do so. Bad market, etc.
Best

Steven,
There were a bunch for sale last year. They seem to come in waves. Hang in there, I'm sure a good one will come up this winter. I'll give you a ring if I see anything.
There's a rather appealing ST4 for sale in New Hampshire: http://www.nationalpowersports.net/itemDetail.aspx?itemID=5554
I bought my ST4s from them and can say that they represent their merchandise accurately to the best of their ability.

Been thinking about an ST2 for next season. Anybody know of anything for sale around the Connecticut/New England area?
Looking for a stock original, with reasonable miles...at a reasonable price!
