"Way-superior motor....." HA!! Tell me that when all your fingernails are broken and fingers bleeding from a valve adjustment! My 748R has the same tiny little valve covers that you get with the ST4. Doing those valves was the most painful thing I've ever done on a Ducati, and I've done pretty much everything now.

Not the earliest ST4. Only clue to the way-superior motor (heads down!) was the little bit of script on the flanks, so I concocted something meself.
