Re: [DucatiST] Battery Tender Junior

Hmmmm.  That's interesting.  My experience has been just the opposite; I leave my battery tender constantly connected to the battery in my motorcycle and neither the Battery Tender or the battery has ever failed in nearly four years of use.  In fact, it's the original battery that came with the bike.  I may have just jinxed myself here...

I can attest to this shortening the life of a good battery. Bought a Panasonic LC-X1220P for my 95 900SS/CR back in November '08. I live in Florida, never terribly cold. Well as I ride my ST3 on a near daily basis, the supersport stays on the stand with the battery tender hooked up. I ride it probably once a month (it was abused by its PO thus I am slowly refreshing it bit by bit), tried to fire it up two weeks ago and the battery is dead. That bike has seen less than 1000 miles since I installed that battery just over two years ago. The OEM battery in my '04ST3 still has not died (knock on wood).
Heed this wisdom! Use the tender sparingly!
