I wouldn't run it that way. Maybe it'd be OK for a short lift (still wouldn't do it myself though) but running it, too risky and too many other alternatives that are safer.
Why not use a front and rear stand together? When I had the front end off my M620 I built a block stand out of some spare wood, 2"x4"'s and 2"x6"'s held together by screws and cut so they supported the bike on the engine case either side of the exhaust pipe running down the center. Took about fifteen minutes to piece together.
