Mate, when i say nipped up all i did was do up the axle nuts to where they would normally reside (not too technical, just a few threads hanging out each side), the gap=4mm.
A possibility for BEST FIX is if a monster, or 900ss has a 4mm wider drive hub,and the chain in the same place as the ST, then i can GO standard, still open to any suggestions, and thanx so far, regards.lee
