It's a "challenge" for a very wealthy patron to make a donation by way of those beaitiful bikes. I think the seller is more than aware of their actual value, he's trying to raise money for needy causes. You or I need not apply, but there are somne peole out there who have a shit load of money and some of them are actually the charitable types who like/want to give some money away, and he's providing a "vehicle" for them to do so. "Out of the Box" IMO.
