Yes, he changed it from the original posting of four days ago. Look at the edit date. It was changed yesterday. A member of the Big Ducati list found the listing for one of the bikes he bought in September, when it sold for $15k. Below is a quote from one member.
"I'm with you on the price, Jim. This guy was on the MHe board telling
everyone how he was doing us a favor by singlehandedly driving up resale
prices. When we informed him that one could buy an MHe with similar mileage
for under $20k in the US (a 2.2 mile bike sold for $18k recently) and a
rider for $10k to $15k depending on endowments he scoffed."
Again I say, if you don't NEED to sell them, why not donate ALL of the proceeds to charity.

Looking for the first time today...says 90% to charity. So he wants $100k for this pair? Laughable. And I really like the bike...I have #120.

He is implying that they are worth a quarter million a piece to him, because that is what HE is keeping.
Now, perhaps I read that incorrectly and he is going to donate his half million as well. In that case then, I stand corrected. I just don't interpret it that way.![]()
