Some people like Stig, but I had some lousy experience with him.
The shock on my St4s (Ohlins) was leaking at the remote preload adjust knob, so I shipped it off to him.
I asked for the full refresh/rebuild. Got the shock back, after about 1K miles it started to leak at the main body. Sent it back to him, he apologized, said there were some burrs inside it (how they got there I don't know - dirty workbench?) rebuilt it again. Leaked again.
Did it a third time - seems ok so far but I have not had much chance this year to put miles on it due to unforseen events.

The entire time I used a 'shock sock' so the shock was completely clean and protected from road debris. I can see one time getting a sloppy job, but twice in a row? And it never had any issues on the shock body until his work.

Just a heads up.
