I used to ride with a bunch Beemer guys. As you probably know Beemer
riders were the first to get into heated grips and the like. They all
pointed out to me that heated grips sound like a good idea but that
heated gloves were where it's at. Otherwise you have the problem above.
I have some Gerbing heated gloves and a heated jacket liner and
without my thermostat I would roast.
I know hunters have heated socks that run off 9 volt batteries.
If they make gloves that do the same that could be the best overall
way to go.
The only real downside to the gloves is the cord for power.
