It’s not the bike I was thinking of initially. Maybe what I’d seen was a “special” of some sort and not from the factory. It was about 30 years ago!

But the motor is a bevel, not a belt. However, the bodywork of that 'street-bike' (definitely not cruiser!) is very reminiscent of the unloved Pantah TL, so maybe from the same design studio. Shades of KTM in there somewhere too. Thanks for posting the link, Ian. That's one Duke book I don't have...
