If the Monster top yoke will fit just skip that and put on a supersport top yoke. Same dimensions and available. I might even have a few laying about.

The top yoke from an ST3 or late ST4s won't fit because they slope downwards from the steering stem by 15-24mm, but the yoke from a Monster is flat and will fit. It will however have the handlebar clamps but these could easily be machined off. There are aftermarket yokes available to fit Monsters without the clamps but they are quite expensive.
