My '05 ST3 has about 43,000 miles and still has the original wheel and cush drive bearings. I check mine every year since I usually have the wheels off for tires. I pop the bearing cover seals off and make sure they have adequate grease. You can do the same with the outside cush bearing but you need to press them both out to do the inside one.
