Thanks Paul. The laser CAT works great. I'm waiting on my chain sliding shoe to get here before I can finish all the back end maintenance up but just put the chain on today to try the tool out. It's amazing how much just a little bit of adjustment one side to the other moves the chain out of alignment. With this tool a fellow can get it as near to perfect as possible. Even thought the marks on the LT swing arm plates are very accurate they allow for enough eyeball error to set the chain out of alignment. Personally I think for he ease of use the tool is well worth the investment for any motorcyclist. Simple to use too! (Okay, y'all can say it, "it's a good thing for me".)
