Part 2 - Parkinsons tried to help as much as they could to keep the costs down but the long and and short of it is I needed a genuine part from Ducati and that was when the problems started. The generator was ordered Nov 2010 and to this date I'm still waiting. I have made equiries directly to Ducati UK and spoke to a Mr Steve Cox. On the first conversation with Mr Cox, he assured me that the generator would be at the dealership at mid Feb 2011. Unsuprisingly, no generator. I have since made another phone call to Ducati UK and I am still waiting for a reply from Mr Cox. I was told by the dealership that Ducati Italy would have to wait for sufficient customers to require my part before licensing the manufacture at the factory. Is this what they call Aftercare ? Has anybody else had the same experience ? I will keep the forum posted on any developments but unsure of where to go from here apart from just waiting with no bike . regards Chris Kirk Ipswich UK
