In Austin we used to have a yearly SPAMarama. It was a small festival that was Spam centric. Here is a link to the last one, back in 2007.

The spam appreciation in Hawaii is really a result of the Japanese influence there. They love spam in japan. Spam sushi is a delicacy there. Personally, it makes me gag.

and let me tell you, it's down right nasty on the way back up. Never had spam since.
