Re: [DucatiST] Re: ST blast completed, speeding tickets awaited.

Hey Mike,

Those are some great pic's and a good story too.  Good to hear the bike and pilot are doing well.  Your son's a handsome rascal, chip off the old block, uh?

Maybe we should call you "Mick" Toomath from now on. (after Mick Doohan)  I hope you don't think he's a wanker!  =8^).

Hi all, it's been a great week to be on the road here in Oz, rain for 5 hours of the 1st day out, still made 600km into the trip, with some sunny weather. The ST enjoyed every minute of it, no excessive slips or slides and occasional 150km speeds, even had a pillion for some of  the better weather. A night in a motel then off for the second day and 470km to the party. If there is a better bike out there to do journeys like this, I haven't heard of it. A complete blast. Even did a circuit of the famous 'Mt Panorama' race track at Bathurst, street legal speeds only, those racers have bigger balls than me, for sure. Arrived back to the flat country this "arvo", (afternoon). Here's a couple of snaps for you snow bound folk. One is father and son and also check out the old codger "twice" at the track, in the black leathers.
Summer is coming to the North. Enjoy.
