2003 ST4s abs
Installed Power Commander 3 along with Gianelli pipes & Pipercross air filterSetup on Dyno, good result and no problem for several hundred miles.
Then start up normal, warm up normal but on riding, it repeatedly stalled. Disconnected the PC3, bike ran normally and I rode home.
Parked it up for the winter with optimate battery charger.
It would start normally but I decided to reconnect the PC3 to see if the problem reoccurred. Started, idled and warmed up normally in the driveway. Rode 300 yards to the petrol/gas station. Yes, the problem has reoccurred.
Tank up, disconnect the PC3 again and now it won't start at all. Push it home.
Turns over well, all panel lights and fuel pump noise ok.
Hmm, did I mix-up the throttle body connectors when I disconnected it? What would be the consequences if I did? One of the connectors has a purple face and the other has a green/grey face. Which is for the front/horizontal cylinder? Which for the rear/vertical cylinder?
And what about the PC3? Is it toast? Can they be repaired? ![]()
