Re: [DucatiST] Ducati ST high Milage

48600 but the speedo quit registering about 1500 miles ago. Need the internal black spinner (worn out) anyone have one of those or the part number?

Great question for the thread.

Mines almost at 52,000 now. Last year she got introduced to a lot of two up.
I'm hoping to hit 100,000 on her before considering a motor rebuild. ;)

Yeah, and his is a 1998!

I'm at a bit over 65,000 miles on my 1999 ST4.
This years maintenance project turned into a bit of a restoration project.
13 years in L.A. smog has done a number on the rubber bits!
new well nuts, new rubber thing at the back side covers.
new stainless steel bolts in most places
new license plate light bulb
new lamps in the dash
new lamps in the turn signals
new lamps in the DD headlight
new silicone coolant hoses (thanks LT)

The engine got new belts, oil and gas filters, oil and coolant <grin>
I put MBP collets on last valve check.

Oh and a coat of wax!
She's pretty!

This is good news guys keep this up and I may not trade the bike in I do love it and every time I take it for a ride I still smile. The issue is for next spring I intend to do a lap of america. I want to go from NY to Ca and back north and south routes I guess I am a little afraid of being stranded.---
