I submit that no single act will eliminate terrorism; however, Bin Laden's demise is a major victory in our ongoing war against such acts. Like many others i wish this war would have ended long ago. Be that as it may, I recognize that had we not waged this war terrorism would have just grown stronger. Despite insurgent opinions on those in the western world, be it based on politics, religion, or otherwise, our perseverance has proven that terrorist acts will not be tolerated; and that we will not back down from our convictions... Even if those convictions mean that we have to blow up an entire dessert just to restore peace; we will not retreat. We will not derail from our fight for freedom, nor will we fail at doing so. Today is a victory for all mandkind!

Moderator: Totally agree, it is a victory for the world. I would love to go back to more peaceful times. I read that Pres. Obama watched the entire event unfold by camera. THis is the most fantastic news since 9/11. I know the UK and the USA will not take BS and will do everything to control terorism. .....jake
