Hey Robert -

Sounds like a nice project, mate of mine used to have an MSS. I remember the quirky clutch activating mechanism - pushrod pushed a plate as per our Ducs, except the pushrod pushed the edge, not the centre, of the plate, meaning it sort of peeled off and fast changes were not on the cards. The other interesting mechanical characteristic was the valve overlap, and the catastrophic consequences to the top end if you over-revved her!
