I'd say that sounds like a great deal. I got my red '99 barely above stock with 58K mi for $3000 two springs ago. Assuming there's nothing wrong with it, I'd definitely be considering that bike.

This surely looks like a nice bike. I still think you might negotiate a lower price though. I bought my '98 ST2 with 8500 km for 3000 euro's. I had some of the extra's you listed but not all. You should be able to go for around 2500 pound perhaps - always worth a try :-)

I'm potentially going to buy a ST2. It's a 2001 (Yellow) and has 25k on it. It's in very good (if not great) condition. The owner is asking $3500 and it has the following upgrades:

He said that it runs great. He did admit that it's prob due for a full service (valve adjust, belts, etc), so that will ad to my costs. Not sure how much the service will cost me.

In any case, does this seem like a fair deal?
