Re: [DucatiST] Re: Fairing Fitting

I have an '03 ST4s and I put the Desmo Times upgrade on mine for making the fairing removal/replacement easier. It makes the lower and mid unit as a single right side/left side item to replace which helps. You'll have to do a bit of fiddling but still is better than the original plan. Also get the longer dzus fittings for it if you do buy the kit.

Come to think of it...I have a spare setup from Desmo Times that I bought before I realized that there was a kit already in the boxes of extra stuff I got with the bike. Probelm is, I'm on a drilling rig right now and have no idea as to when I'll be back home in case anyone is interested in it.

When I get back in, I'll post several pieces of redundant stuff I have for the ST4s.

And speaking of redundant stufff...I need the stock rear sets for my 2001 996 Superbike. It has a GP shift right now and with the Nortons, olde Triumphs & BSAs and then the ST4s and 900SS/CR, I do not need another gear shift pattern to worry about! It gets "cornfuzzing" enough as it is, now!

So anybody have some and while we're on the '01 996, it is a Monoposto, so anybody

SHIT, some fighter jet just buzz the rig and thought we had taken a kick and blowout! That got the adrenalin pumping!!!!

So, anybody have for sale, the rearsets (brake and especially shifter), a biposto seat (red/white number plate is the color of the bike), passenger foor pegs, and the steel sub-frame for the bike? The 916/996/998 items should all fit the bike.

Cheers...Hopper

Agreed, but I personally don't advise to attempt to change it.
