I have G.P.R. Carbon fibre cans (http://www.trenditaly.com/exhaust-gpr-for-ducati-st4s-in-carbon-p-1943.html) on my '02 ST4s and have been extremely happy with them. They're considerably lighter than the stock Remus cans and have been working well with the stock ECU.
I have no idea if there's any difference in power or delivery as I never really ran it with the Remus, but the sound is markedly improved! Having previously owned a '92 900SS with open airbox, Termi race exhaust and jetting to match, I was a little disappointed by the stock sound of the ST4s ;)
